you can't compare an icon who is past their prime to someone who's stil fresh and in their prime RIGHT NOW.

Actually to an extent you can.
People say you can't compare but the media seems to stay comparing
hence why it has reached the fans and now
is at its peak.
I mean Madonna is a tour force last time I checked, an icon at that.
It shouldn't be that hard right?
Especially against someone who is fading.
The London Standard has an article in this evenings edition staring Madonna has failed to
sell out Hyde Park while Gaga has sold out her first date at Twickenham Stadiym and added another.
They fail to mention Gaga won't be performing to a full capacity of around 85k. Apparently due her stage set
up capacity is around 55k.
When it's all said and done Madonna is most likely to have the biggest tour gross because of the prices. Gaga will not be very far behind and she may even sell her out because she'll have more dates. But neither having more dates nor having more expensive tickets will make the feat any less great that it will be.
Both performers are Tour forces because of different reasons. One is the Biggest Pop Star on the Planet and the other one is The Queen Of Pop.
