Sorta devastated, TBH. Right up there with "You're Still the One" in terms of Shania's best ballads. While the first two singles on TWIM, "Whose Bed..." and "Any Man...", show the sassy side of Shania, this is a very tender moment where Shania lets down her guard. I think this song is about how women frequently have to carry the emotional baggage for men, who are supposed to be "emotionless", but Shania is telling her guy to open up and think about her emotions and her needs every now and then. The song only reached #14 on the country chart (a damn shame), and the video was shot in Egypt. Ugh, who else was filming videos in Egypt? She's so revolutionary it's not even funny This song tied with WBHYBBU, but this song had way more 10s.

This one song in particular I am looking forward to. My all time favorite Shania song, Top 5 favorite of mine ever.
"The Woman In Me"... I was always so fascinated by those scarves in the music video..blowing in the wind... it's a visually appealing video (most Shania vids are, lol)... and it was sensual in sucha beautiful way (hmm, again.. typical Shania, lol)... but I feel IN LOVE with the song when I saw this yearrrsss ago... I was so young I don't remember much of the several live shows I saw (except when I touched Katy's hand, she took a sign I had made and held it up to the cameras.. it said "Shania Twain, U Took Over My Brain!" ....so. much. emotion. in. this. And THAT is what typically REALLY draws me into a song... I adore Katy Perry as well, and altho it was intitially Katy's HUMOR that made me a fan.. it was her passion for the songs, music and people that held on to me very tight. I love Shania and Katy dearly... they are so different, yet have many similarities... so ya, haven't commented at all during the countdown to our fav song, hehe... so my 2 cents so far!
But seriously, if You're Still The One, From This Moment On and Forever and For Always are sabotaged because of YOU, I will be extremely mad, sad and disappointed.
