4 was the only great album out of the four. Femme Fatale had good material, but it felt like a step back artistically. Talk That Talk was a rush job and it showed. Born This Way was a complete and utter mess.
If it had been asked at the end of 2011, I'd have said FF. But I've already lost interest in TTT. I play songs from Loud more often than it, presently.
People LOVED it and were getting all sorts of life from it when it leaked and MTV was calling it the year's best pop album. That's when it had a Metacritic score in the 80s. But then as more reviews started trickling in, opinions changed
MTV calls EVERYTHING the best pop album though.
I don't think I've seen them give a negative review to a major label artist in the past few years. It's blatantly obvious all the major labels pay them off for good publicity.
As empty as Femme Fatale may feel, its high points are really great. TTYH, Criminal, HATLM, and Scary are some of the best tracks of Britneys career. I voted BTW, Judas is the only track I still use
