Actually, I don't know if she'll release an album this autumn. In April, there is a blu-ray release of the documentary "When Björk Met Attenborough", there's also an album recorded with Meredith Monk and we are also hopeful we still get a Biophilia Live DVD.

It's true that almost 4 years have passed since Biophilia was released. And that was the space of time between Volta and Biophilia.
It's also true that Björk has written some songs and has been in a studio to record them, but nothing too official has been announced.
We are obviously hopeful though...

Just a lil' question to cover the shameless bump...

So what direction would you guys like Björk to go with her next album?
For example, I would love to see her use strings again, like in Homogenic. But still, adding a really avant-garde feel to them. Really futuristic and technological.

Relatable & melodic again... just like on Homogenic / Vespertine...
I mean songs like "Immature", "5 Years", "Hidden Place" slay me so much more than the experiemental Biophilia stuff. + I need bops again from her like on Volta/Post, even "Vertebrae" was a bop (best song on album).

Well I am trying to keep it active...
And yes it doesn't even look like all these years have passed. Personally, I haven't got tired of Biophilia yet. Not that I got tired of her previous albums, but it's just that Biophilia was the only Björk release I've witnessed since I'm a fan. Crystalline was the first song I listened to and it still brings me so many memories

That's why I can't wait any longer for new Björk music to come and slay the generic mess that is invading the world of music right now. She's always one step forward and will always be.

This poor base. I've never posted here actually, I think. Bjork is one of my main faves. Homogenic is my fave album and it has my two of my fave songs aka Joga and Bachelorette.

One amazing song of hers that I feel is often way overlooked is Pneumonia. It's so beautiful
