Yep, and after first week was falling hard.

Demi first album went gold after 2years. Selena 1 and 2. album went gold after 6months.

Selena has 2 platinum hit (Naturally and Who Says), and officially from her 3. album LYLALS without any constant massive promo or radio playing or hype is gold. (~640K).

Demi has a crazy fanbase, whose love to buy her album on the first week. Selena's songs has LONGEVITY. For me this is more important fact.

I totally agree with you! I don't have anything against Selena, but Demi is much more talented singing and music wise. Hopefully there's room for the both of these girls, along with Queen Miley, in mainstream top 40 pop radio in the future
