Jimmy, who hosted last year's successful award show and has done this before will rightfully host the 2011 ATRL Member Awards, with me serving as co-host. Any questions, please PM or write on my wall. While, satellites is gone, we have taken the initiative (as it belongs to Jimmy) to create an even bigger and better awards for the members. Stay tuned.

I'm not shading Satellites, I'm a friend of his and I don't think he would mind. Why postpone it for another month, when we can just carry it through and when he comes back he can still be an important part of the awards. If sats can't do it I don't think there's anyone else who can do it, BESIDES Jimmy & I.

I don't think that is good idea because Satellites does not like Jimmy and he already pick a secret panel to vote for the nominees.
We should just wait until he comes back. It's not a big deal.

With the hype already built up, I think we'd be better off if someone else just did it right now instead of waiting til the end of February.

i did love Jimmys Award show
but sats should still control it just get Duca or someone to post the noms than when sats gets back he can post the winners.

We don't plan plan to come here and throw off the game -- what we are essentially doing is HELPING. Its already Satellites thread, all we need is to choose and present it. Some of you are acting as if we're burning this thread and making our own stuff and completely changing it. WE JUST WANT TO HELP!! Bolded, capitalized and exclamation just for emphasis.

We've had member awards under any other name for years now, I think... Mazen used to host them. It's a natural progression and if Jimmy wants to lead an awards thread then he can open one himself. Sure seems like an awkward time for it though.
