It's been an amazing year for Tinie Tempah. He came out of nowhere yet managed to become so successful in the UK with his first album, "The Disc-Overy", which contains the great "Written in the Stars", "Frisky", "Wonderman" and "Pass Out". I must speak of Wonderman. It's one of my favorite songs this year, it's an amazing song and it's definitely my favorite song of him so far. His verses are sick and I like his style (Music & clothing). He brings a different flavor into today's music. Can't wait to see more of him in 2011!

We all thought Nicki Minaj was just another "Features Girl". Oh boy she proved as all wrong with "Pink Friday". I love Nicki, she's sexy and her music is really fun and comedic. Most of her features follow that pattern of "comedy rapping", which she didn't really adapt into Pink Friday which is quiet sad, but not that much, since Pink Friday songs are amazing nevertheless. She brought female rapping back into the scene, which made jealous never-been rappers like Lil' Kim furious. Nicki, herself, her album and her features are amazing and she's probably my favorite new artist of the year, she's like the female Tinie Tempah, or he is the female Nicki Minaj, doesn't matter, both are great and maybe we'll get to hear a Tinie Tempah featuring Nicki Minaj? I really hope so

I really gave a deep thought into this one. Should Rihanna be my #1 artist of the year since I've played her songs the most? I mean, she's my favorite singer after all. But then again, although I really love Rihanna and LOUD, and I didn't feel like giving her the #1 since she didn't really shine to me in 2010. I mean, ofcourse she shined with great music and success like always, but that's the point - Nothing changed. I'm glad she's back into making fun-dancey music, although Rated R brought the best out of her -- I discovered and got into other artists (More specifically, two) music more this year and Rihanna - Because I've always been into Rihanna's music. Why Rihanna is my #3 artist of the year is obvious, she had such an amazing year with hit-after-another, from Rude Boy, to Love the Way You Lie and Only Girl. She is beautiful, sexy, gorgeous attractive and very charitable, humble, lovely person who tries to help the needy people as much as she can - And she proved it with her battle to find these poor kids ill with Lukemia donors. I love her music, I love her personality, and I can't wait to see more of her in the upcoming years, especially her debut movie - "Battleship".

Katy Perry is a peacock [In a good way, ofcourse  ]. She's colorful, beautiful and multi-talented. No matter what people say, I think her live vocals are good, they are not the best but definitely not the worst. It's just that she sings songs that are above her limit such as Firework, its one of the hardest pop songs to sing. I never really liked Katy, I actually hated her before California Gurl. I thought she was a 2-hit-wonder, although I abused "I Kissed A Girl" and "Hot N' Cold", I never really got into her music nor personality. When she released, I fell in love with this California girl. She made me want to visit California! She writes really good Pop songs with substance and emotions. She's beautiful and attractive, and has the biggest natural boobs. Teenage Dream is a great Pop album and it deserves the Grammy nomination no matter what people say! Katy had an extraordinary year and she's getting the respect and success she deserves. She's also Rihanna's Celebrity BFF, she knows how to pick 'em. I can't wait to hear Teenage Dream Re-Release, and especially the single featuring Rihanna. Katy is my second most played artist this year according to my Last.fm scrobbles.

I know what most of you will probably say. You'd say, that I only like Eminem after Love the Way You Lie. That might be partly true. I always loved Eminem's music, he is such a genius. I mean, it's like I grew up listening to his music and I keep vaguely remembering myself watching his music videos on MTV, from The Real Slim Shady, Stan, to Lose Yourself and today's Love the Way You Lie. It's also true that I like him more after LTWYL, I just got more into his music (Although I *****d "Not Afraid" before I heard about the collaboration, and always played his music), I just got know what an amazing, one-of-a-kind rapper he is. His lyrics are genius ("Love is evol, spell it backward, I'll show ya!"), and most of today's rappers rap about superficial material things such as money, cars, houses and etc... Eminem raps from the heart, his songs are full with emotional impact from his personal life ("Cleanin' Out My Closet", "Stan", "Mockingbird"). It's like he empty his thoughts into his songs, and you can hear his anger, his struggles and problems through he's music. It's like you get a view into Eminems' eyes and see what he sees. I think he's ability to deliver emotions like that through music is amazing. He also has he's alter ego, "Slim Shady", which makes more fun, comedic music ("The Real Slim Shady", "Without Me", "We Made You"). What made him my artist of the year? He's 7th LP, Recovery, which is full with great songs (Space Bound, Not Afraid, LTWYL, Almost Famous, Talkin' 2 Myself) which are both of what I talked about above. Eminem's is the greatest rapper, the King.
