I think most people like K-pop because of the melodies and the great visuals, something the west has been lacking for years. So, you sort of missed the point there.
Man on the Moon is cheesy, but that's the appeal. Like, the whole point of the song. If you think "childish" is the main critique of Britney Jean, you should read the reviews. I mean, a lot of critics praised Brightest Morning Star, the most childish song.
