Hopefully there next single shows off their vocals more. That's literally the main reason why people love them so much: VOCALS FOR DAYS.

And after their tour & EP, hopefully they join a bigger R&B tour with somebody with a loyal fanbase. Like a K. Michelle or Kehlani.

This. I was secretly hoping Kelly would sneak them into the second US leg of the Formation Tour. I mean there has to be some advantages being with Kelly.

Honestly glad they're not.

They need to work more on their stage performance and have something besides Lance to promote before they get an opportunity like that to fully take advantage of that moment.

Nah, they typical show all of their artists. Jidenna is on Wondaland, but it is on their website.

They're not making BIG money yet, but they're all probably better off than they were before the show.

And they get tons of free stuff from brands, so at least they don't have to spend money on clothes

It's amazing how much free stuff celebrities get, especially the ones that could probably pay for expensive clothes already lol.

I bet that's such a weird feeling for newer artists...to be walking about in free Louboutins but can barely pay your electricity bill.

Apparently not.

Frank Gatson was replying to fans on IG the other day. He said that fans need to do their best to promote the group, to show Epic that there is a fan-base. So that the next single (presumably "Wrapped Around") doesn't "flop" <- his own words.

I don't understand how "LANCE" was a buzz track originally, but then they making it seem like it was a flop. LIke, you have to actually promote it in order for it not to flop

I don't necessarily fault Epic for that, but more so their management. There were a few radio interviews...but they need a legit radio promo tour. I think all parties are at fault in this situation.

But then I'm also worried about the quality of material too, if they thought "LANCE" was going to be a runaway hit. Because I noticed from first listen that it wasn't going to be.

I absolutely love the track and I'm sure if it was released by 5H or Ariana Grande it would be - at the very least - a moderate hit. It's fresh and catchy!

I think Wrap Around will click. Need them to do some actual promo now. Happy that they're on tour with R Kelly. It's giving them some good exposure.

They need to release "Wrap Around" this month with a preorder to the EP and drop it on Black Friday week to get as many sales as they possibly can. Now THAT song, can DO something for these girls.

I bet some of their hesitation is that the girls no longer have BET as a platform...so they're not making them a priority. I bet if Season 2 was set in stone, they'd be rushing to get them out.

I remember Danity Kane saying labels didn't want to sign them for the reunion album, unless a TV show was attached. And I'm pretty sure DK pitched to Epic, so they were prob one of those labels. And presumably, that's also JD's problem.

Also in interviews they keep saying to the fans to reach out to the label if they want new music released. I really hope their EP is delayed.

When I saw that KELLY ROWLAND was going to mentor and work with a group I KNEW it would be a rough road, but I am rooting for them. They need better management and that right song.

Yeah lots of the JD stans on Twitter / IG have been tryna get a hold of the label through social media and JD seems to be happy about it. Considering "L.A.N.C.E." was put out in June, and this release is just an EP, you've got to be right that it was delayed. Because I mean we know at this point they for-sure have enough material to put one out, and based on their attitudes in interviews, they seem to have actually been able to write a little, have some control, etc. - they seem enthusiastic about it so I don't think the problem is not having enough "hits". But if the label is really trying to wait around on the show, then...

Yeah, they said in an interview that they've recorded over 30 songs already.

Yeah, but if those 30 songs include "All Of Us" (<-- OMG it took me like a min to remember the title of this, goes to show you how much I like it

)....then I doubt they have HITS. They might have 30 album tracks.

The reason why I'm being cynical about that, is because they chose "LANCE" as the first single...even though they supposedly have over 30 "hit songs" recorded. Nah.

And in their interviews they say they're hoping to get some more producers (R. Kelly, Pharrell, etc.) on the album. So it sounds like they're still wanting to record some more. And IMO, there's probably a reason for that lol.
