Hey, my first three ratings for Janet and the one for Funny How Time Flies were pretty high, OK?
The rest of the songs were not really my style so I had a hard time rating them...
It wasn't 'love at first listen', but it grew on me. Hard. It might be deemed as an album filler
But it's a superior album filler, to be honest. :I love Madge's 'chameleon' vocals on this one.smitten:.
I don't get the hype over this classic Janet gem.
At least until I hear, "Don't Call Me 'Baby'! It's Janet. Miss Jackson If You're Nasty'..
Then I realize I love 'feisty' Janet. .
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE LOVE THIS SONG!
It's probably my favorite opener out of all the three albums.
And I'm kind of jealous Madge didn't get this on 'True Blue'. .
This song is/was ahead of it's time. .
Filled with spunk. sass and proclaimed freedom for independence, a great song!
And the production literally *****. What kept it from a perfect 10 was the song too long.
Other than that, I LOVE it! .
I can't believe this out ranked the brilliancy that is 'Control'.
I don't know about this one, I felt it was a weak first single
But it's just okay, I guess. .
Oh Bart Things just aren't going your way this rate. Looking back, I should have given this a 9 instead of an 8. But compared to the other Madge singles left in the rate, there's no way I could give this a 10. It just doesn't compare, in my opinion. It still has a great chorus, and you can feel a burning passion in Madonna's vocals. It's definitely a great stalker song. I promise things will get better, Ace.
Awwww I love this song. This song was #1 for pretty much the ENTIRE rate, up until the last day when it received a slew of 8s from the voters. This song was the last big gay rights anthem of a generation until last year. You can give Cyndi **** for most of this album, but not this song. No sir. 10.

And it's not like I didn't give Madonna two 6.5s
But which song did you want for #1?
Well, I never expected a Janet song to go #1, but if I had to pick one, it would be "Let's Wait Awhile," which is my favorite song from Control, superior to "Live to Tell" and her best ballad of all-time.
