What is the point of floating touch? ... Are we incapable of touching our screens now? Is that an inconvenience? It seems like it'd be more difficult to focus on keeping your finger on top of the screen than just touching it.

My contract isn't going to be done til June, I'm kind of hoping the Note 3 is out by then. It would be cool to basically have a portable tablet with a ridiculous battery life.

It's just like the AirView feature on the Note 2, it lets you preview tons of things (emails, albums, videos), but of course the Note has a stylus, which makes it easier than with a finger.

Both Notes where released in the last quarter of their respective years.

Did I lie tho? Try it with your phone. If you have a heard surface 1/4" from your finger, you might as well just use the screen because I guarantee you'll be hitting it anyway when you try air poking.

Anyway, if that's the real phone, people will complain more about the design than about 2 features that can easily be enabled-disabled.

Android is probably the best looking OS right now. The HOLO theme is Beautiful! I regret switching from Android to iOS which feels incredibly dated. Touchwiz is the problem NOT android. You can always download a launcher.

Apps on android that follows google design absolutely crush any ios app in terms of design aesthetic and functionality. It's the ****** port apps on android that looks like crap.

I going to switch back to Android with this or the upcoming X phone.

We really can't get the best of both worlds.

Although the UI might seem irrelevant to most of you, I actually love a good looking UI that's why I always prefer HTC since Sense always look amazing

and WP8 is the best looking OS right now.

Yeah TouchWiz is absolutely hideous and not refreshing it for the S4 would be a big mistake. It's just crazy how nice Android can look but Samsung ruins it with TouchWiz.

Is HTC's support really that bad? I've heard awful things about Samsung's support, they're basically non existent.

The great thing is if you're not satisfied with touchwiz you can get one of thousands of launchers available.

I like Windows Phone 8 as well but it's too flat for my taste.

Samsung support is the best second only to nexus devices.

^^ girl don't even try coming for iOS it is a much better looking OS. The only part of Android that looks nicer is the homescreen, if it isn't cluttered with widgets.

I don't get all the hate for touchwiz. It has so many feats that stock android doesn't have (for example even the SGS1 back in 2010 had a better notification bar than Android 4.2). The only thing I hate is their music player, but thanks God I have Poweramp.

TBH HTC Sense was basic until their Flipboard/Windows Phone-ish BlinkFeed home page.

The only thing I love about the iPhone is actually the iTunes support. I'm a music buff and want all my playcounts in sync.

and I hate widgets. My dad's tab is a mess.

I may sound dumb but iTunes is basically my life. I can use last.fm but sometimes the scrobblers are killing it. They do not sync every play which makes it unreliable especially that I make countdowns every week.

WP8 lacks in that department as well but I think I can manage. Idk.

The beauty of an iPhone is you can decide later because it depreciates slower than all other phones in the market. Win win for me

This was interesting that HTC said this:

Floating touch has got to be one of the most gimmicky features. Most of their features are useless gimmicks that Samsung introduces so the Standroids can bring up yet another feature they don't use when comparing it to an iPhone in an argument.

Yeah. HTC's support is so BAD. The can't even stick to just one or two flagship phone/s.

HTC Butterfly, HTC One, HTC 8X, HTC Butterfly all over the past 6 months The only thing they update is the Android Version/WP8 Version

Samsung at least gives the users some exclusivity. Nokia obviously does that too not to mention Nokia also delivers in updating their phones constantly. They listen to their consumers.

It sucks that HTC is a second-rate in both Android and Windows Phone

The One is also a mess. Again, the UI is great although it looks like WP8 but honestly it'll flop. The main highlight was the camera. a 4 MP camera. Ultrapixels is an absolute gimmick.
