We need to ask Bey how she's doing it because sis has been working for years to control ALL her business. She owns her own masters, rights, publishing and I honestly don't think it will be long until she doesn't need Columbia/Sony. We need more artist having control over their own business and music.
Rumor had it that the reason it took Bey to release ST song long was because she was negotiating to securing her publishing and whatnot before the album was released. While some may not have 100% control, having like 85% is better then most.

It depends on what that 100 million comes from. Like I said, she's negotiated the rights to all her publishing, masters, 50% of her album and single sales, as well as a GREAT chunk of money from her tours. I doubt there is someone out there that is NOW profiting more from her name and endeavors then she is.
