5/10
Haven't really heard anything from Kelly's Xmas album but I'm sure she slays in it.
Nice to see Twenty One Pilots
The Way Way Back is a surprisingly nice film
The Purge was good but the ending sucks.
They just totally destroyed the Percy Jackson movie
Haven't watched Monsters University yet
I still haven't seen The Mortal Instruments. Did you read the books? Are they good?
I haven't read them myself but some friends told me they're good. The movie was okay, it has a lot of elements from other sagas (including of course a forced love triangle) but it was entertaining anyway.

I'm still not sure how "Sweater Weather" got so big myself. I just think it's because of the title. BECAUSE IT'S COLD, AMIRITE?
lol

Agree, I think the ending was very anticlimatic but the movie itself was quite creative.
What I like the most about this band is that they always have a vision, there's always something deep inside of what they do. Their music has become a little repetitive lately but their videos are always something to look forward to. I would love to see them live one day.
Of Monsters and Men "King & Lionheart"
Everybody and their mom knew about this band last year. Obviously they were doomed to become one hit wonders but their album had a very interesting concept. Not only that but their music videos are pieces of art. I'll be checking for their next era.
Michael Bublé "It's A Beautiful Day"
Mr. Bublé finally came back with a new studio album this year. I gotta say I wasn't very interested at first but this song finally got to me. It's surprisingly cheerful and simple, the lyrics are a bit too descriptive and cheesy but not too bad either.
Florida Georgia Line "Cruise"
I'm gonna start by saying I like the original version way better than its autotuned counterpart. FGL are one of the most important country groups of the last few years and they deserve all the success they've got. I hope the remix was a one-time thing though.
David Guetta feat. Akon & Ne-Yo "Play Hard"
Gotta love the meltdowns this video caused in my country. I guess truth really hurts. As stereotypical and slightly racist as it is it depicts nothing but the ugly truth in here. I can't wait to get out of this third-world trash can. In the meantime I'll say I like this song, like it or not.
Keane "Higher Than The Sun"
And Keane celebrates their 10-year anniversary releasing their first GH compilation. I gotta say I didn't expect it to be so good. From beginning to end pure quality music. The lead single was nothing too impressive compared to the rest of the "album" but I do like the concept of the video.
No Doubt "Looking Hot"
And now that the dust has settled I can't help feeling sorry for No Doubt. Their so-called long awaited comeback bombed right in their faces as they failed to connect with the current audiences. Looking Hot was one of the best songs in the album but the video was banned so...
Alicia Keys "Girl On Fire"
I don't get the hate for this song. In my opinion it's one of Alicia's best singles in years and it sounds different from anything else on the radio at the moment. I have to say I never got tired of it after all this time, that's why it almost made the top 100 in two consecutive years.
Bastille "Of The Night"
Second of four Bastille songs in this countdown. This one is just so weird, everybody says it's sampling some popular old song but I haven't ever heard of it. Took me a while to get into it but now I love it, it's fun and dark at the same time.
OneRepublic "Something I Need"
First of four 1R songs in this countdown. Personally I think this was a very weak choice for a single, the chorus might be cheerful and catchy but the rest is just bland and dull after a while. Thankfully they're moving on to "I Lived" which is way better.
Thanks for your comments.
