All I have to say is, kids, if you think your life is "hard" is now, if you want to go to college and be successful, you better get comfortable with being uncomfortable, because you're going to have alot more studying to do and you're going to WISH you had the days back where you had homework count for the majority of your grade.
And by then, you won't have any room for complaining because your future career will be on the line and their won't be any room for the laziness you're displaying now, so if you think nobody cares about your whining now, your professors sure as hell aren't going to cut you any breaks in college.
The goal of high school is to get everyone to pass. In college, if you **** up, it comes down on your shoulders and you don't get a second chance to re-do it or get extra credit.
My best advice as someone who wished they worked harder in high school is stop complaining and see your work as an opportunity rather than a chore, because the more you put in the more you get out of it, and that one night you decide to slack on your homework can be the one night someone else more motivated outperforms you, gets ahead, and takes your spot at the college you wanted to get into.
