Well there's no discussion here if we agree. The substance of the song doesn't come in play, I think. The concept is not new, nor superior to those before. And it's Nicki & Rihanna, not Mother Theresa. The hook is weak and I just don't think Pop radio will catch fire to it.
As for "Super Bass", I am neutral about it, so the comparisons don't matter much to me when it comes to worthiness. Though it'll play as platform for Top 40 stations to transition to "Fly", plus of course Rihanna being on it.
I think songs that are written in an attempt to inspire are more deserving of success than songs that practically have to do with nothing. i.e.: Super Bass. Im not saying it'll be the reason for whether or not Fly will succeed, Im just not agreeing with what you believe is deserving of success so dont patronize me with the whole "Nicki isn't Mother Theresa" because Im not trying to make the song out to be more than what it actually is.
4.929M people heard it today on the radio..that is the best day so far!!! it is 0.5M more than yesterday!!!
it got only +1.975M update because last Wednesday 2.954M people heard it.-(bigger rolling effect than yesterday)
