I could also make a point about her performing style forcing other pop girls to get more physical in their shows, especially after her high-profile Grammys performance in 2009.

Taylor and Katy are the perfect examples in this thread. Also Kelly Clarkson. I'm quite surprised Christina Aguilera hasn't been mentioned more often. What impact did she have, besides being a 2nd rate Britney and Bionic flopping?

In the bubblegum pop era, it was always Britney Spears > Christina Aguilera > Jessica Simpson > Mandy Moore. It's common knowledge, and their album sales prove that.

Keep in mind Xtina got her career by copying Britney Spears with Genie.
