I'm so sad it's over but that was an epic ending for my favorite movie saga. Everything about it was just perfect. I'm jus speechless and really sad it's over
I can't believe it has ended. It was everything I wanted it to be. I was on the edge of the seat the whole time, not a dull moment, and the intro theme still resonates in my mind.
I loved it!! Usually a few thing really irritate me after seeing the movies, but I thought they did a really good job. Although, I was shocked that they had Fenrir DESTROY Lavender. I didn't think she actually died in the book. The epilogue was silly in the book, but obviously they had to include it in the movies. People just burst out laughing throughout the entire thing though, but I thought they did well with it.
The movie was fine but the movie felt really short for a 2 hour+ movie. It was very consistent all throughout the time I was inside the theater but this film can never touch Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. Quite disappointed with some of the scenes, like how the epilogue made me laugh because of their older versions looking hilarious instead of cry of the end of Harry Potter or like how they made Severus looked like he was a comedian who was forced by the director to cry for the first time when he carried Lily's dead body and baby Harry looking at the camera instead...
^ OMG YES. I laughed out loud when Snape was rocking Lily's dead body. They had a few inappropriate comic moments. There was also the time when Slughorn greeted Harry in a funny manner when everyone was dead/dying in the castle.
The second time was just as epic as the first. And I see y'all stay hating on the epilogue, but it gave me chills and goosebumps from head to toe.
[Although the audience with me at the second time was frigid as ****. No laughter, no sobbing, not even the applause at the end (as most other appreciative lots would).]
There was a firework display as we left the theater, with the famous HP musical score as background. And I was like, hell yeah, our nearby shopping mall is stanning hard.
Oh my goodness, everything was absolutely perfect except for two things.
A) To the makeup team of the aged Hermione--you know that you can do something else to her to make her look older besides pulling her hair back.
B) Ron, give Harry a damn hug before he goes to die.
Other than that, my favorite movie over the past couple years.
