I think they are getting into it. It's #3 on iTunes still. It keeps moving up nicely on pop airplay as well. This is fixing to be the Latin summer hit of 2009. We really didn't have one last year, so this will make up for it!

Yeah, Idol (or anything for that matter) isn't going to increase "Boom Boom Pow"'s sales that much. It's already sold 1.7 million copies. It's going to be #1 on pop radio tomorrow night, it's been at #1 on iTunes since its release and #1 on the Hot 100 since its digital release. I'm sure most people that are downloading the song now are just people who are finally getting around to doing it or they're giving into the pressure and are deciding to download it, since I don't think there's that many people out there who haven't heard of the song who watches Idol or listens to pop/r&b/hip-hop.

Don't you think it's a bit logical?

The AI performance sales boost is starting to fade and there isn't any radio airplay to keep it up like WUIV does.
