ROUND 4 RESULTS

The time has come. It's time to reveal who is safe, who is out and who is immune. EVERYONE sent in their rankings so the person with the lowest scoring song WILL be going home.

First, let's see who is SAFE!

1st Place: Little X: Swedish House Mafia f. John Martin - Don't You Worry Child (IMMUNITY FOR NEXT ROUND): 780 points
2nd Place: ReachOut: Loreen - Euphoria: 735 points
3rd Place: Girlicious: Icona Pop - All Night: 635 points
4th Place: EuphorianSea: Robyn - Dancing On My Own: 615 points
5th Place: I'mRihannaFan: Avicii - Levels: 610 points
6th Place: fiercE: ABBA - Dancing Queen: 585 points
7th Place: Qatari Monster: Icona Pop - Girlfriend: 540 points
8th Place: rl231: Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend: 540 points (the reason rl231 is ranked lower than Qatari is because Call Your Girlfriend got the lowest ranking between the two. The lowest points Girlfriend got from a contestant was 30 points, while Call Your Girlfriend's lowest total from a contestant was 20 points.)

This leaves the following as the bottom three:

If you may remember, Nnmmo won immunity last round, so obviously I am declaring him safe first. Supernova came in 10th place with 330 points. It had only a 10 POINT DIFFERENCE between the lowest scoring song.

That means its now down to e437 and prezli. One of you scored 405 points and came in 9th place, while the other scored only 320 points and is leaving us. And that person is....

ROUND 5: THE CARIBBEAN SEA

Welcome to the Top 10 everyone. In honor of you guys achieving this milestone in the competition, we will be taking a trip to the Caribbean Sea. This round, you will be sending in a song by an artist that was born in a country that has a Caribbean coastline. Look it up on a map if you need to, but this means you have multiple countries to choose from so don't freak out. You're artist can be from one of those tiny islands, Jamaica, Yucatan Peninsula...you name it. As long as they are born in a country that has the Caribbean Sea bordering it, you're good.

Because as long as the feature isn't dominant, it's ok. At least for this season. I need to be consistent with my rules.

Anyways, I need to clarify something for everyone else. Some sources say that Barbados, the island Rihanna (and Shontelle) is from is part of the Atlantic Ocean instead of the Caribbean Sea. However, other sources list Rihanna as a Caribbean act along with others.

So I'll allow Rihanna and other Barbados artists for this round, since they are still considered Caribbean even though Barbados is considered to be part of the Atlantic Ocean.

Indeed. Almost everyone ranked your song between last and 7th place. Legend E ranked you 4th, someone ranked you third and fiercE ranked you first. fiercE LITERALLY saved your ass last round with that #1 ranking for you. Thank god though because We Are is a great song and it didn't deserve to be ranked last.

Alright, so today my Mom has been having a business meeting at our house, and they're going to be here until dinner time. Because I'm for the most part preoccupied by other things today, I will extend the deadline by one day to JUNE 13TH at 9 PM PDT. So you have an extra day to send in if you haven't already.

I'm not sure if you sent in, but I think I got 6 to 8 songs in. It's just that I usually remind people 12 to 24 hours ahead of time when the deadline is approaching, but these last two days have just been too busy. I had to do some cleaning last night in preparation for my Mom's business meeting and I had to do even more cleaning this morning. Plus, Tuesday we had carpet guys here changing our floors from carpet to Vinyl/Wood

This week has just had a lot of chaos around my house. So extending the deadline by one day (after all the chaos is over) is the best thing to do so that I can be all relaxed and worry free when I can update (and in the comfort zone of my bedroom).
