Sia - The Greatest (feat. Kendrick Lamar)



A good current bop but I'm a bit tired of it now, maybe because it's overplayed. Kendrick verse is useless, the solo version instrumental bridge is so much better!

The Chainsmokers - Don't Let Me Down (feat. Daya)



Another overplayed but also good track. The verses + prechours are my favourite parts of the song, the breakdown is a bit too much for me. Still, this song is lit at the club.

Tove Lo - True Disaster



I love it but I just can't put it in the top 50. It's too similar to LMH, Style and all the other sisters, I thought it was never going to happen but I'm tired of this LMH-formula. (maybe because I played boht LMH and Style more than 2000 times but ok lol)

Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex



The girls and especially Perrie slayed this. A great bubblegum bop, nothing else to add.

Katy Perry - Rise



I always liked Rise. The chours isn't that strong but the pre-chours is beautiful. A solid song overall, can't wait for her to dominate 2017 with KP4.

Jonas Blue - Fast Car (feat. Dakota)



He's such a good EDM producer, he gave us bops this year. Fast Car and its euphoric breakdown are amazing, and one other Jonas song made the top 50.

Charlie Puth - We Don't Talk Anymore (feat. Selena Gomez)



I had to include it at least here. Even if I basically hate it now because it's the most overplayed thing ever here in Italy, it's still one of my most played songs of the year and I really used to love it. Maybe it will grow on me again during the next years. And oh, this is easily Charlie best song lol

Fifth Harmony - All In My Head (feat. Fetty Wap)



A very cute summer bop that deserved to do better for sure; I even like Fetty verse and I usually dislike him. The video is great and all the girls look amazing on it.

Alicia Keys - In Common



I wasn't expecting Alicia to come back with a single like this. Very current but also very classy. Too bad the video was meh.

Clean Bandit - Rockabye (feat. Anne-Marie and Sean Paul)



Everyone thought they were done but they came back with this huge bop, which also became their second biggest hit. Anne Marie sounds very good on it (I'm really curious about her debut) and Sean Paul makes everything even better.

Surprise. I decided to rank in a special chart my favourite 5 songs from this year Eurovision Song Contest. It's a competition that I always enjoy a lot so it deserves a spot on my countdown.

#5 Francesca Michielin - Nessun Grado Di Separazione (Italy)



This isn't even close to Francesca best work but it's still a great song. She deserved to do so much better, Europe had a flop taste in 2016. (especially for what they did to my #1)

#4 Amir - J'ai cherchè (France)



This song makes me so happy even if I don't understand literally anything lol. Amir did that.

#3 Samra - Miracle (Azerbaijan)



This was my instant fave before the competition but then she let me down with the performance; still, the studio version is amazing and it deserves to be in my top 3.

#2 Poli Genova - If Love Was A Crime (Bulgaria)



A reverse Miracle experience: this became one of my faves after the performance, Poli really did a great show. And of course the song is a bop and a half.

#1 Agnete - Icebreaker (Norway)



A tragedy. Europe really let this masterpiece out of the grand final. This song was so perfect to represent Norway (a country that I love) and Agnete performance was fine... I really don't know what went wrong. Oh well.
