Ok, the top ten is getting really old, we need new music soon... I mean I'm so sick of Iaz, Owl City, Jay Sean (Down), and Miley staying in the top ten. They need to die and make way for... actually nevermind, there aren't many songs in the top 20 that aren't old... paparazzi is at 13 and i gotta feeling at 11... People need to release new music asap
The Christmas Effect on the digital chart will be split, so we wont see any record-breaking #'s this year.... we will see big #'s for the week that ended yesterday and for this week.
^ But it's always split. You'll only ever get one year per seven that has a full 7 post christmas sales week.
This year it's only one less post-christmas day than last year when GaGa broke 400k and with downloads becoming more and more popular all the time I expect Ke$ha to break the record GaGa set last year.
I think most downloads are made on christmas/boxing day so as long as those days aren't spilt in the sales week then the sales won't suffer much.
