Plain Gold Ring is perfection and a great example of how to do justice to a Nina Simone song. One of the few correct things the US version did was using the live version on the track list. The studio version is good too, but it doesn't have the power and build of the live version.

I feel like both the studio and live versions of Plain Gold Ring have their merits. I prefer the studio version in the context of the album.
And wtf This Kiss is also inexpressibly perf. Like Call Your Girlfriend only not nearly as smarmy. SO many quotable lines and cute production tricks, too.<3
