Not really. DJ haven't even advertised it.
Though when the dates are announced, that is automatic free promo. I think it is impressive how many dates are sold out considering.
People are saying Beyonce's tour is impressive but she had the Super Bowl performance, the O2 advert (which is played every two minutes) etc, so that kind of demand is expected.
Rihanna has managed to sell out most dates including stadiums with 0 promo or hype.

That's why I was asking because I've seen no advertising at all. I wouldn't even have known the tickets were for sale if I didn't get on ATRL. I hope she does sell out most dates as it draws nearer, but I think she's doing impressive so far.
Beyonce's doing great too though.

It is promo, but I was asking if the tour itself was being advertised which are two completely different things. The general public may hear her music on the radio, but that doesn't necessarily correlate to them knowing she's on tour.

Just like Beyonce had promo infront of 100M+ people, as well as having hype since it's her first time touring since like 2008 while Rihanna has been touring every year since 2006...and new single and album =/= tour

Why do y'all Beyoncé stans keep acting like Bey toured for '4'? No she doesn't have a new single or album, but she also didn't tour for '4' - so its not like people have had a chance to see her live aside from the few shows she did in NYC. Especially her international fans, its been what? three or four years since the I A.... Tour? That plus all the dope promo she has, Super Bowl, and all her European fans that have been wanting to see her live since Glastonbury? I'm not surprised by how her tour dates are selling. Kudos to her.

I'm not pressed, typical Beyonce stan trying to make an argument out of everything. 
Just because she had an album out doesn't mean people know she is touring. There has been no advertising for the tour whatsoever, but she has still sold out stadiums across the world. For a supposed singles artist this isn't so bad.
I'm simply stating that this is an incredibly impressive feat, and people are overlooking this fact because of Beyonce's tour.
Beyonce's tour is also impressive, but she had the SB performance in front of a 100 million people, and the biggest advertising campaign and hype I think I have ever seen for a tour. Of course there would be demand.

Rihanna's tour is called " Diamonds World Tour." Her single was called " Diamonds." See the correlation. The general public is not dumb, and know she is on tour.
They both have promoted the tour. The difference is that Rihanna's has been on sale for months, while Beyonce has been on sale for less than 2 weeks.
I just wished the Navy would stop making excuses, and bringing Beyonce's name up every chance you all have. I would have not commented if no one mentioned Beyonce's name, which was mentioned with shade attached to it. Beyonce is not the only artist in the world on tour.

I wish we had some promo for the DWT. Rihanna hasn't even mentioned in her magazine interviews, her few TV appearances or well ****, anywhere besides tweeting out the link a few times. Lol! Aside from Radio DJs mentioning and stuff like that, we haven't gotten much. I wish she had a dope tour commercial or behind the scenes footage leading up to the tour like we did for The LGOE Tour & The Loud Tour. Hopefully they line some kinda promo up.
