I never liked Macklemore, he always sounded so cheesy and off-putting to me. Even his pro-gay speeches were so repulsive to me. I completely agree with Drizzy.

i REALLY agree with the part where he said macklemore shouldve taken the award and just risen above all the drama, because ultimately it doesnt matter he got his gramophone (even though i still say a lot of the ott hate that was sent his way is ******** tbh) and if he wanted to text kendrick about it then he shouldve just ****ing DONE it without posting in on social media to look like a martyr. and then if he really felt he didnt deserve his own award then drake is right that he shouldve used that hunger to make better music from now on.
however, the part where he makes it about himself makes him sound a biT salty but maybe im still thinking of all the passive aggressiveness drake showed towards kenny not too long ago. i think he might be a little jealous of all of the KING's hype and buzz tbh. but that could work for him if he channeled that into his music and dropped his own Ether.

rappers are competitive by nature. plus, drake has always been a bit whiny and bitter about the perception of himself my many as 'soft' or 'overly emotional', even if it hasnt hurt him commercially. you can see him talking about it in several interviews.

Mack just needs to stop trying to please everyone. I think he overcomplicated everything and made it worst for himself with the text too. I think a tweet saying, "I appreciate this award but I think Kendrick deserved it" would of been fine.
