Several musical acts rose and fell this year. Some hit their arguable peak critically and commercially while others seemed to hit rock bottom and are headed on a sinking ship to oblivion. Thankfully, these next 10 artists are not headed on a downhill slope, rather (at least in my opinion) have a bright future ahead of them in the coming years! To be clear, this specific countdown measures the artists who "won" 2015 and are the most (musically) relevant to me! Hihi

My opinion on Justin prior to this year was the exact opposite of what it is now. Justin is not only likeable, but his music is legitimately good this time around and now the "Purpose" era has officially made a stan out of me!
So the hardest part when creating this best of was coming up with ONLY 20 songs for the countdown. There were so many amazing pop/r&b songs that came out this year that this was truly a struggle for me to decide but here it is after weeks of deliberation. And as a disclaimer: with me being a major pop fan, most of the songs in this countdown will be pop. So sit down, grab a bucket of popcorn and get ready to be entertained!

Blasting to no. 3 on the countdown, we have Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams". Of all the singles Swift released in 2015 ("Style", "Bad Blood" and "Wildest Dreams"), this song soars the most. The power pop ballad is really an ear catcher, I guess you can thank Lana Del Rey for that. "Wildest Dreams" is one among many highlights from "1989".
This list was fairly easy to come up with surprisingly. There were some really amazing movies out this year and I think I did a pretty good job at acknowledging them and placing them in their prospective rankings. Will you agree? You'll just have to find out!

I went into this movie not expecting much, I figured it'd just be another spy movie but I was so wrong. Rogue Nation is clever, new and edgy in every way that the most recent Bond movie "Spectre" is not. The action sequences were so well executed and the plot twists were so entertaining I had to watch it again.
I'll admit that I haven't listened to very many albums this year which sucks but the ones I have heard, I've loved (for the most part). Some of these albums you may like, some you may actually dislike but just remember it's based on my top picks from the ones I've heard so far!

Justin really won me over with this album. With the hype from What Do You Mean? I was expecting a lot from him and he delivered. There are so many great pop songs on the album that I'm really addicted to like Get Used To It and Love Yourself. The only reason Purpose narrowly misses the no.1 position is because there are a few filler tracks like Mark My Words and Life Is Worth Living.
2015 was a great year for music videos. The 24 hour VEVO streaming record was broken not once, but twice this year and for good reason! This list will comprise the top 5 best music videos released this year. It was difficult only picking five videos but there were some particular stand outs that really required no thought. The "1989" era has become the pinnacle of all pop era's this decade. Every single and every video has been top notch. "Bad Blood" in particular stands out so much from anything that Swift has
ever done musically and visually.The video flows like an action movie and with stars ranging
from Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and Kendrick Lamar making cameos throughout the video it can only be said that this video is fantastic! Also as a side note, "Bad Blood" has several obvious movie and music references if you can catch them all.
Jet, I think we're soulmates tbh. Your love for gifing and this incredible list is wonderful.
Justin has BROUGHT IT this era and it's incredible. While I love Wildest Dreams, Style should be in it's place tbh.
This is just so great and I can't wait for the rest of the list. I really wish I would have done my own list but I have no idea what I would format it as lol. But this is incredible as always King Jet
