Like I said, if you actually followed a poker tournament, you'd realize how important it is to win a bracelet for these pros. They put their heart and soul into these tournaments.

It's just too bad certain singers aren't able to do this.

But why a bracelet for poker? Why not something else? I have no problem/issue with wearing a bracelet/band myself. (for awaile there, I had the Lance Armstrong "livestrong" yellow band, and another white band to support the "One" campaign.)

Basically I'm doing my entire blog based on Big Brother and World Series Of Poker for the summer. Here's the latest.

Johnny Chan is one of 23 players left in the Pot Limit Omaha event and has a shot to win his 11th bracelet. Burt Boutin is also one of the final 23, he's won 2 bracelets and already has a win this year. This is gonna be good.

I also heard a rumor that Rob & Amber MAY be on Big Brother 8, not confirming anything though.

WSOP UPDATES:Blackjack ace Ken Einiger has made a WSOP final table. We'll see if he wins his first bracelet. Eli Elezra wins his first bracelet after defeating Dutch Boyd, David Sklansky, Scotty Nguyen and others in the Stud event.

Tiger Woods is going for his 13th Major win in golf but he has to come from behind in final round to win it this time. Can he do it? He's +4 but 2 behind the aussie Aaron Baddeley.

Big Brother 8 begins in just 3 weeks. Don't miss it.

Beth Shak and Katja Thater combined for about $500,000 in the 2 final tables shown last night. You may recognize Beth as Dan Shak's wife (Dan Shak finished 4th in the 2006 U.S. Poker Championship). Anyway, she finished in 2nd to Shankar Pillar (BOO.....first-time amateur winning = not fun). Beth did take home a ladies' record-high for a non-main event winning over $330,000 for finishing 2nd in the No Limit Hold Em event (the same one Hellmuth finished 6th). Katja sorta one-upped her winning only $140K+ or so, BUT she won a bracelet becoming the first woman to win a bracelet since Annie Duke's Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event win in 2004. FTR, Hellmuth has tied TJ Cloutier for most career WSOP final tables.

But since most of you really have no care for poker and only for cheesy hip-hop for say....T-Pain, I guess I'll say this.

OK poker fans, Daniel Negreanu has another shot at a WSOP bracelet. He's arguably one of the biggest names in all of poker right now and if he were to win this bracelet, this would be his 4th....but he'll have to win in Stud....
and beat Jeff Lisandro who finished 2nd to Allen Cunningham in his last final table.
Lisandro finished 17th in the 2006 Main Event.

Speaking of Aussies, Joe Hachem and Jeff Lisandro are not the only big names in Aussie circuit for me. Enter Stephanie McIntosh (the girl in my avatar). She is so good and I recommend you check her music out.
