You cared about Anakin in EP1, but EP2 ruined that.

Their relationship ended up being somewhat believable in EP3, but EP2 was just so lame. Anakin was annoying AF in that movie, so yeah, no way Padme would have fallen in love with that.

I blame EP2 for everything tbh.

the fact that i wanted his and padme's relationship to fall apart and for obi wan to slice the bitch in half

thinking about it, iii would probably be better than vi if it didn't have to salvage the mess left by i and ii but the final scenes between palpatine/luke/vader in the death star are perfect

I honesty think VI is pretty disposable. I don't like the characterization choices for Luke and Han at all. It's pretty meh to me until the final battle with Luke, Vader, and The Emperor which elevates it to strong heights. The original script >>>>>>

yeah, he was fine in i and iii did a good job (i guess) sweeping the mess up.

i's biggest flaw was having a big space adventure centered around taxation (who the **** cares lmao) and having four different action scenes at the end

I agree. EP1 was enjoyable, not great but enjoyable and it had a story to tell. The Qui Gon Jinn vs Darth Maul fight is epic. I still get nervous watching it. The beginning of the third act is a bit boring though.

There was no reason for EP2 to be as bad as it was. I only like the ending.

the way obi wan and qui gon can suddenly run at super speed to escape the droideka right at the beginning of the film but then during the maul fight, obi wan can't run fast enough through the lasers to save qui gon

The most hysterical thing to me about the Prequels is that they had this insanely romantic and twisted storyline about the downfall of man and the entire galaxy and they told it like it was a cheesy comedy for half the time.
