I am quite shocked honestly. I know sales are the pitts lately but still. I guess I haven't been paying that much attention anymore. Also, she doesn't have a radio deal. Roar had like 40 millions listeners in it's first week. Rise will have less than 1/4 of that.

Have several seats. No one is claiming Gaga is a selling monster, so quit the trying with Gaga. If she even does 90k debut thats huge for Gaga. At-least we accept she lost her selling power.
And on Katy well for her debut single to sale so dismally is a shocker as she is still a selling monster, that's a fact. And this double standards on sales climate crap, what was J.T;s first week sales? Yet he doesn't have Katy's power.
Though i can admit the song isn't that catchy, so doesn't have that interesting feel, that makes you want to rush and buy it, the GP agrees. Also it may sell above 200k when the Olympics begin as it will have lots of promo. Also no one is disagreeing that Katy will have a huge debut with her lead single, for it will be catchy pop. So let people discuss the debut, its not only monsters bringing up that reality, we all have a right to comment without flamebait, you can do it for Gaga, so can we.

Because you can see just by those singles that her sales are inconsistent
this "stan war" is stupid as hell and Rise isn't even her lead single

It's clear that Katy declined. Why is it hard for them to accept that and they need to attack other artists just to make them feel better?

Not when Katy has the best selling solo female artist sport event songs for the past 3 years.

If the planes wrote "Buy Rise on iTunes" I'm sure she would sell 500k+.
But just Rise don't mean anything, I would just stand up tbh.

And Rise not being a lead single isn't a good excuse. The GP doesn't know that, and Rise has had Today Show promo, sky writings, all the iTunes banners, a cinema spot in 20,000 theaters, etc.

Britney selling anything over 90k is fantastic. it's not like most of the current girls are selling 300k+ that she's so far behind.
