Tolerating sexual harassment against women perpetuates rape culture because it promotes the idea that women are the ones who should have to dress, walk and behave a certain way, when the reality of it is that men should learn to keep their ashy dicks to themselves when no one's asking.
I am agreeing with you. That was my response to the people who questioned her use of the term!
My bad!! I ****ed up the quoting and didn't mean to only quote you. But yeah people here are being hella transparent rn. Smh!

That term only makes it worse tho. It's not cute! Because then people can completely overlook the valid points made and wrap them in a bow of "Oh they're just crazy people online". And the dumb uneducated lazy people would rather throw that term around than read up and solidify their own opinion on the matter.
I mean it's ****ed up that people have basically made that term synonymous with tea partiers basically.
She didnt do the right thing tbh
Even if she just sent it to his mom alone I wouldn't mind, in fact i would consider it fair but posting it online
now it'll never leave and it will be public forever.
Now it looks like she was just thirsty to get a hit on tumblr tbh
Right? some of these people need to visit victims of sexual harassment and assault.
They might change their tune then. I am willing to bet he had the same mindset that he was hot and she must have automatically wanted it.
THAT IS RAPE CULTURE. Stop calling every little thing tumblr ******** when this is real life.
Kik is not for nudes.
That's like saying snapchat is for nudes, since if you look up "#snapchat", you'll find people begging for nudes.
C'mon now people.
You can't be this naive though. Sign up for Grindr, Tinder, Kik, Snapchat, or anything where you can add strangers you're going to meet your share of perverts. I mean she's not on Neopets.com, and of course she should have put him in his place and maybe educated him on why sending nudes is wrong to pick up woman, but eventually when you use a term like "perpetuate rape culture" to much and too loosely, it loses its effect. The girl who cried wolf. From what I read nothing he said sounding threatening besides "too big for you". He just looked like an asshole who needed to be put in his place.
The bigger crime is that people are still sending nudes with their face include in it. Its 2014, like people, don't show your face.
Hmmm I don't like this comparison. Sending nudes without permission is scummy and terrible but touching someone without permission is a LOT worse.
Yes, but it's still doing something sexual to someone without consent.
The principle is still the same due to it being unwanted. Yes touching is worse but both are bad.
