My point is there are far bigger events that get far more media recognition than a simple marathon. If a terrorist act was behind this, it wouldn't fit their MO.
It's a terrorist attack.
It could be domestic terrorism, but terrorism regardless.
Just to clarify for Bostonians: Boston Marathon is a holiday. Most people have work off, no students have classes, everyone goes out and watches it. Its a HUGE deal in the city.
The fact that there were Newtown victim family members in the VIP section by the finish line is what really got to me. Crying over my computer right now. I don't think anyone I know was hurt or killed but I just don't know yet. Obviously only the people that are okay are updating their statuses right now.
It's impossible to know for sure what to be prepared for, who would have thought someone would bomb a marathon? If you watch the video, there are lots of police and security around, there was an extremely fast response time. However, it would be impossible for them to have known this was going to happen.
I don't trust America with anything, probably an inside job tbh.
