omg. no, white people did not "invent racism". people have been discriminating against others of different races for centuries. you can look up things about discrimination against other ethnicities in pre-modern china - they were everywhere. and that's definitely not the only example.
i won't deny that white people did a lot of racist things. but to act like other people in the world never had any discrimination based on it is completely wrong and really western-centric.

This is exactly what I'm talking about! Do you guys not listen to what you're answering? White people have throughout history perpetuated racism to the fullest, more so than any other country in the world. Nobody claims that racism didn't exist in areas without white people, but it is UNDENIABLE that the biggest problem with racism are white people.
Now the thing is that when somebody says something like this, your initial reaction is not to think about the actual racism, but to immediately go and somehow find an excuse "oh no but look there are also these people who did this" "oh no look white people aren't guilty because there are others who did it before them"
It's the typical narrative of a white person to make up excuses when accused of being racist instead of saying "wait, what was it that i said that was racist?"
Do y'all see how literally every answer in this thread is just avoiding the general thesis, and providing excuses or anything that will steer away from racism or anything bad being tied to white people
