I can't believe people are actually trying to state that Xtina is the voice of our generation when she's probably THE most overrated vocalist out there. She can't sustain notes. She can't belt with vibrato. She has horrible enunciation. I can think of about ten other girls that can sing better than her, including Nicole Scherzinger, Kelly Clarkson, and--yes--Beyonce.

The only thing Christina can do is vocal gymnastics, and that's only because she's trying to hide her complete and total inability to sustain a note. She is NOT the voice of our generation--she just has a really good PR person.

Hating shades off, you've got to be DEAF if you think The Xtina of today is a better vocalist than the Bey of today.


Bey is the best vocalist of this generation and not even Adele come close

Kelly definitely gives Beyonce a run for her money though. She has waaaay more power in her vocals than Bey.

Kelly is very good, but I think Beyonce has more abilities. She's mastered melismatic(?) phrasing, staccato singing, & the ability to translate others' songs of different genres into her own, amoung other things.
Though I would say I find Kelly a better match & would rather have her brought up than Xtina.
