This is my first ever mid year countdown . This chart counts the top 40 played songs from the year.so far. This chart may have some surprises due to the fact that the #39 song "Cups" by Anna Kendrick has never charted before(even in the extension of 16-20), however, due to the song being available to me since the year started, it has lingered around just below the top 20 songs for quite a while, granting it to accumulate 208 plays so far. This goes to show that longevity is a key factor here in my chart (as shown by "Carry On" by fun., which totally surprised me to where it placed in this mid-year countdown ).
Anyway, thanks again for everyone who has supported me now and since the beginning of my countdown . I hope that you guys will continue to enjoy the countdown as much as I enjoy tracking and making it for you guys.
