One of her best lyrically, no matter what KD thinks.
#6 - 8.90625 - XR2 - Kala - Album Track
Top Score: 10 (Dephira, Ace Reject, Navin, Jameson Teqkilla, Shape, Von, Fozzie)
Lowest Score: 7 (ClassicMainstream, KoreanDream, Clump, i spit on haters))
I consider $20 M.I.A.'s lyrical peak, and this her "party" peak. This song, more than almost any other song, makes me just want to DANCE ALL ****ING NIGHT. It's got such a great energy and build that goes perfectly with M.I.A.s most dead-eyed flow to date. It just sounds like being ****ed up, no giving a ****, and having a blast.
And the abbreviations 90s reference bridge is probably one of her most genius moments lyrically to top it out.
Fun FacT: ClassicMainstream didn't rate ANYTHING a 10.
So what's left in our top 5?
Bucky Done Gun
10 Dollar
Bamboo Banga
Paper Planes
Bad Girls
Shall we go right to the end?
Let's give our own personal top 5s before we get into it...
1. Teqkilla
2. World Town
3. 20 Dollar
4. Bucky Done Gun
5. Paper Planes
