a non-traditional gender neutral pronoun that to be fair not many people use. the set is xe, xem, xyr, xyrs, xemself
anyway yes, I'd use gender neutral pronouns. and SHAME on whoever thinks that gender neutrality is something that only tumblr users do… these people have existed since forever. the hijra in south asian cultures, the five genders in bugis culture, and the two-spirited people in native american cultures have been a thing. this is not new ****. stop it.
edit: and shame on those who say that they'd beat their child or take away their stuff. I hope that, if you decide to have children, you don't end up with one who is non-binary. you will ruin their lives.

You all need to stop being so ignorant twoards your own community. This is the last place this should happen. The hate here is disgusting.
Even if you don't understand it, that's your child. As a parent, it's your job to understand your children, and to do what's best for them and what makes them happy. To the gays here, Imagine if your parents forced you to be straight? It's kinda like that. Some people don't identify themselves with either gender, and the thought of gender either irritates them, or they would simply prefer to be referred to with neutral pronouns because that matches their identity and makes them feel more comfortable. Respect their wishes, because you have no idea what they're going through.

Never has a truer statement been said on this site!
@ people bringing up Tumblr, it just shows how uneducated and ignorant you are on the topic!

No. If they were trans I'd respect that but I'm not referring to them as xe

Xe'll be called he/she and maybe, at a stretch, they/them.
They'll grow out of that phase soon enough

No. He or she. I wouldn't call my kid xe, zhe, they, them or whatever. I wouldn't fight with my kid tho. I would accept it if he or she really wants it. I don't support everything just because it would make my child happy.
And I agree, don't compare homosexuality and homophobia to this whole gender identity thing. It's not the same. And just because 'we' are gay doesn't mean that 'we' have to give everyone a platform.

Why is everyone bringing up Xe? you realise they/them/their is what's usually meant by gender-neutral pronouns?

She's a trans woman so is obviously trolling, since people who actually agree with the views she's expressing view her as a mentally ill cross-dressing f*ggot who cut his dick off.

I hope no genderqueer will read this thread, stuff like this are actually hurtful and can lead to suicide and its a serious matter

First of all, I don't really understand the whole idea of that gender mess. I support wholeheartedly transsexual people but I don't understand those who feel like a certain sex and yet don't want to change their genitalia. And I even more don't understand people who claim to be genderfluid or non-binary In my point of view, it's really gets in the way with feminism and perpetuates gender stereotypes.
I think I could call my kid them/they but gtfo with that xe ********.

Call me hypocritical or whatever but I don't believe in those stuff. I would still call my child him/her.
