And right now we're coming out of an era where it was okay to think of LGBT people as others and second class citizens, it's "okay" to not be okay with their lifestyle, love, etc. 50 years from now nobody will think her statement is okay.

I don't agree with you on that, at all. sexual orientation and race/sex have nothing to do with each other, and even today there are still people who don't agree that women should have equal rights (hence the feminist movement), and who don't agree that african americans are equal (hence the black lives matter movement). I don't believe this lady in particular poses even a fraction of a threat to the LGBT community. there are much much worse people out there that should be confronted, but y'all ain't grinding your pitchforks to go after them.
