that interview from yesterday got me hyped for Which Witch. i'm glad she's evolving her sound, but it's nice to be getting one more "old" Florence song with huge drums and booming choruses. it sounds like a monster of a song.
also, i just want to put this out there.... markus dravs has produced for Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Björk, Brian Eno, Mumford & Sons, etc., all of whom have had excellent critical and/or commercial success. not saying that he is responsible for those bands' successes, but still there is a definite correlation.
since flo always gets great reviews, as has WKOM, i think it's safe to say working with dravs can only benefit her on this album, and she will again get great reviews and a great metacritic score, and if her label puts it up for various grammy awards, i think there is a great chance it can do well.
of course we have to hear how good the album is first, but come on, it's flo, of course it'll be good.
It's just frustrating to know that the album is done and has been done.
Like, why do we have until June?
I know. It's already been played in full to her friends and family, so it's def done. Not to mention the songs are all already stored in iTunes' database. Ugh

I know! I hope there's a reason we got WKOM so early, like if they have a big campaign planned or are gonna do a few singles before because June seems so far way!
was just looking (obsessed, omg ), and unsurprisingly all of the HBHBHB tracks were added to her ASCAP; however, something that caught my eye was two new tracks that are not being released on HBHBHB: Tantalus and Conductor, both of which were co-written with Dan Wilson. interesting.
Between a crucifix and the Hollywood sign
We decided to get hurt
Now there’s a few things we have to burn
Set our hearts ablaze
And every city was a gift
And every skyline was like a kiss
Upon the lips
And I was making you a wish
How big, how blue, how beautiful
those lyrics are so cool. she is such a great writer, omg. it's going to be an epic song, i think she said it's her favorite, but i know she also really loves Ship To Wreck

Maybe bonus tracks for Japan or b-sides?
