Artists today don't have the talent like artists once did, especially pop stars. They either can't sing or use autotune for everything. It doesn't take talent to be successful.

I don't get celebs that have negative opinions about other celebs and say it out in the open. They are just painting a picture of themselves that isn't so nice. For all i know, if we put Britney and Elton to perform side by side, Britney's would be more interesting. She can dance decently and put on a good show sometimes, but that's when she actually feels like it. On the other hand, no one really wants to see Elton John; who really just sits at a piano. I'm sure he is talented and all but he really need to close his mouth unless he has something more respectful to say.

So you think she sold 100 million albums based on her voice and not the type of music and/or her image? Ok.
The voice is a factor. I admit. She has a cute and appealing voice. But there is undeniably more to her success than her vocals. I can't be the only one who sees it this way.

I believe a lot of her album sales were based on people enjoying her singing and vocals. Like I said, it's foolish to act like people only wanted to listen to the instrumentals and have the booklets.

You acting like nobody bought her albums for the singing is utterly ridiculous. Some listeners would've bought her albums because of her image/music's production but that was clearly not the main reason, like you implied.
If that was the case everybody would've simply bought Britney karaoke discs and posters instead.

Shut up with these things. It is NOT true. LMFAO. People now could level talent of earlier musicians and that's a fact. We have better variety now than they had before and it is NOT the musicians' problem if autotuned songs keep on going top 10. Stop saying **** like "eughhh no talent. Talen is from 1910's" type of **** it doesn't sound good.

Okay folks, let me explain a few things for ya.
First of all, while unarguably more legendary, Elton's time has passed ages ago. His past, incredible achievements concern no one nowadays. I'm sure he's still doing great but to imply he's currently more relevant than Britney is absurd. And yes, I know, last two records did terribly, her dancing's not the same yada yada yada. Point is, every little thing she does slash says is constantly discussed by the media, she's got a big fanbase and is in general appreciated by today's generation. Is she going to oulast him? No. Is his statement false? No, not really. IS Britney untalented? No, she has written a few stuff on her own, has piano skills, puts on a great show, showing growth and is slowly improving. How is someone who has worked really hard to achieve everything they got, been through hell and back, lost everything, had people claim their career was over for good, came back to prove everyone wrong, scored a handful hits, had two succesful tours all while remaining humble, untalented? For reasons we don't know she refuses to sing live so why is it that we jump into conclusions? We CAN'T and won't know in what state her voice is, until she does.
