I used to hate her just cause Lily Allen is and will always be my girl. I've seen interviews and she seemed so pretentious. I thought she was talented, though, for I liked One of the Boys. But, after hearing about how funny she was I followed her on twitter. Since then, I started liking her so much more. I think she can be fake at times to try and be cute, (but, what artist doesn't act fake now-a-days for instance Gaga's random voice changes and going from the 'sweet' way of speaking to sounding like a demon, Nicki Minage's plentiful characters, Beyonce apparently is Sasha Fierce, etc. No, this isn't flame baiting also, before anyone wants to send out warnings. I'm just seriously stating how I feel.) which sometimes is annoying. But, it's weird because it still works; what I feel/see as her ~*real being is still quirky, fun, happy, cynical. I LOVE that. She may poke jokes at things, but, it's all supposed to be in good humor and I like that (BESIDES THE LILY THING.) While I do see some of the fake bits, it's also ironic because I think she is one of the ~*realest artists out, now alongside Britney Spears (who seems like she doesn't even fit into this weird ass atmosphere.) PLUS, She's best friends with Janell Shirtcliff and I ****ing love her lol!
I also think people need to stop with the "She sucks live" because I think she is one of THE most talented pop artists around and her numbers prove. I have seen the performances people have claimed she 'sucked' at and I personally think she does fine or even REALLY well. You go ****ing sing Firework and see how stunning you sound. She has a BRILLIANT voice and she is doing everything perfect this era. Her music videos are flawless, her album which was released ages ago is STILL having #1 singles. I can see why people want to threaten the girl about her copying artists, which isn't true at all. Also, out of the ~*big girls out in the pop industry... she's at least keeping a positive and beautiful look while the other ladies want to channel Satan (Also aside from Britney.).
