Paper Airplanes would start off with her making an airplane during the intro, and then she throws the plane and the camera follows it before flashing back to when she was younger, following the story in the song while alternating to closeups of her singing. Then at the end, she picks up the paper plane from the floor, takes a deep breath and throws it in the bin.

The video will alternate between clips of her going through the airport (duh) and her sitting at home and reminiscing on the guy in the video. When the high note comes, she's at the airport and hugging/kissing him before going off to board in tears. The last shot is of her looking out of the window of the plane, shedding a tear as it takes off.
