It may be a bit hard to find a 2-book series. I haven't ever heard of one. However, you can always read an unfinished trilogy.
The Infernal Devices just released their second book. The last book comes out next year. Those are really good YA books, too.

I have this theory that everyone who reads the book has a similar dream.

So did I. It slayed. Although I prefer Jem over Will. Its clear she loves Will more.

Sooooo excited for City of Lost Souls. Cannot wait to see what happens with Sebastian. Loved City of Fallen Angels so much.

I agree. I prefer Jem as a person just because he's so damn sweet and because he breaks my heart. But I adore Will so much. Especially after this book. I don't know which of them I cried more for. D:

I just want all three of them to have happy endings. D;
And I KNOWW!!!!! The teasers for CoLS have been driving me mad. Especially the one where Sebastian is like, "Kill me little sister! Kill me and you kill Jace too."

If you want to read Dystopian YA books, I'd recommend Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Maze Runner by James Dashner, or Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.
But if you want some other good ones that aren't dystopian, obviously The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices, the Evernight books are pretty good--if you like romance, the Wake series by Lisa McMann (I think they're making a movie out of it...I kind of hope not since I don't think it will translate well on screen...but I think they casted Miley Cyrus in it ), and if you haven't read the Harry Potter books yet, that's definitely a must.
