Anyways, I got a response from my roommate ad. The guy seems really nice, he's from California. But he suggested we get a one bedroom, and a share a bed and **** every night.

Haaaahaaahaaa Hollywood, this is too much! The joys of Craigslist!
Also, thanks for reviving the Old Folks Club....I've been busier than usual IRL which means less ATRL time...plus with the missing search function it's much harder to track threads you care about. Never again!

Question for y'all - I joke a lot in this thread about being old, but I'm curious at to how we all really feel about our ages. Does it bother you to be in your 20s or 30s? Or are you loving it?
Despite joking around here about being old, I really do love being in my 20s. I always thought teenage years were going to be the best of life, but to be honest, I am enjoying my 20s so much more. Rather than being upset about being "old", I enjoy it and the additional independence and responsibilities that come with age. I'm sure it will eventually hit me...I'm turning 25 next and expect that to be a milestone and to put things into perspective. 30 will be another story.
I agree. I love being 23, and I think these are definitely the best years of my life. I'm learning so much and experiencing a whole lot, and I couldn't ask for anything more.

i like being in my 20s.. i've done everything i wanted and thats the most important thing when you're growing up.. learn new thing, live new experiences, and get prepared to take advantage of every opportunity
I prefer being in my 20s. People don't treat you like a child anymore and you start paving your own way in life.
I've always been a bit of an old soul so my teen years were whatever. I hated being talked down to like a child and always had older friends. I've never been scared of aging, it's a part of life. I think it's very important to age gracefully and be conscious of the fact that what you do in your teens and twenties should stay in your teens and twenties. Now if only Madonna could come to the same conclusion.
