I never can get into her early work. Daydream is the worst album I can really, really say I like. The others have nice songs (esp. Music Box) but overall never really got to me.

But from Butterfly onwards I love her discography with Butterfly and The Emancipation of Mimi being her two best albums.

And fortunately the new album could very well sound like TEOM and be a Hit.

It is a good album, there are amazing tracks but the production on some songs sounds dated now. Still a pleasure to listen to it though

Rainbow was the first Mariah album I ever got, back in 1999. I used to think it was her best album until I heard Butterfly.

Rainbow is now my fourth favorite album from Mariah.

I love Music Box, but I especially loved Daydream and Rainbow Mariah. Those albums were fantastic. Rainbow is definitely underrated. I guess I'm just not one of those people who can really get into and stan for TEOM, E=MC2 or MOAIA. The last time I remember just really being on board with her was Rainbow.
