Damn, why am I so prone to getting into Twitter arguments with my mutuals about Mariah's vocal ability? First an Ariana stan saying her voice would be average if she couldn't whistle, and now a Bey stan saying she's no longer the queen vocalist because she's lost her voice, and I'm feeling especially betrayed about the second one since I wouldn't expect such hate from a fellow Beyhive member (though I've been drifting more and more away from the Beyhive since Bey stans are annoying af)! I guess I can't trust anyone from other fanbases these days...

I ended up blocking the Ariana stan, but with the Bey stan, I'm just gonna let it go bc at least they respect Mariah's vocals from her prime. But damn, I need to stay off of Twitter for a while.

I think the Mariah one's right because a lot of sources agree with that number, and I'm pretty sure the Bey one's right because Forbes just reported that she's the highest earning female musician of the decade or something like that.

I wasn't too familiar with her either until I did this rate Ace is hosting about other 80's chicks. I kept finding myself going back to her songs for some reason, then saw the Ric Wake connection.
