This is all true. But Katy always ends up feeling unimportant. She's just the face of today's Dr. Luke/label-engineered, radio-slaying hit machine. She could be swapped out for anybody. Thoroughly anonymous and marketably inoffensive.

Okay now we just saw Gone Girl footage and it was amazing. Fincher going Zodiac again with some Tattoo undertones. Looks like a contender.

Not sure if this GONE GIRL trailer was new. Really interesting montage of seemingly unrelated sequences. Liked it.
In fashion maybe. But in music, she's pretty much a trend-chaser. No shame in that. It's just the way it is.
Rihanna starts trends the other girls follow. Just look at how impactful Birthday Cake/PIU has been on the radio and on most pop girls (Gaga , Beyonce, Miley, Katy, Britney).
Wow at the drop off in retail value for music after Canada. No wonder no one actually cares about whether someone is global except for people who live in irrelevant countries with no purchasing power.
