i think the problem is many people still dont know her music.. or know the song is out.. she needs a performance or two somewhere big.. (not just on a late night show cuz that wont help)
yeah, she needed to go to ellen and the voice and a couple morning shows. she better bring her ass back to the us and promote

100% agree. She will get that opportunity and that's where her break will come. She should be back in the US in July. But remember she has so many endorsrments and makes so much money overseas that she can afford to take her time. Just today she getting ready to launch her Adidas line.

The Adidas line will be launched by fall 2015.How I wish that they'll embark on a promo campaign before the official launch, using the song.
That's 36 total correct?? If this song gets any sales push it'll skyrocket up radio.
I think so.I am begining to doubt that this song will break the US,the song is just tumbling down the itunes charts,I doubt any future promo can help this song, given how low it is on Itunes.

Yeah, i kinda lost hope a while ago but I think Rita will go the Iggy route and release songs until one sticks or since she's not done w/ the album perhaps she'll come along another potential hit? I think IWNLYD maybe wasn't the best way to introduce Rita to the US.. hopefully that Black Widow collabo will help?
I kind've thought to myself if IWNLYD was released as the R3hab remix here, I could totally see radio spinning this like crazy and the clubs too. It's pretty catchy if not more catchier than the original to me esp. after the beat drop.. and there's even a radio edit which is perfect: http://www.dirrtyremixes.com/track/r...ix/38836/23411
Kind've like how Lana's SS remix went huge, I could see it happening w/ IWNLYD but it's late and i'm just wishful thinking
Hell the song didn't even have lasting power in the UK on iTunes. Regardless of promo, if you have a hit people will find it and buy it. This is just too generic and could have been recorded by any pop girl.
I have seen worse songs become huge hits. The problem is that her team have not been strategic in promoting it,for instance in the Uk the song was not adequately promoted,I'm not even going to talk about the US.I don't believe in the theory that if a song is good people will find it,you need to take the song to the people not the other way round.IWNLYD is a grower,it's not an instant hit, hence needs a massive promo plan to make it a hit, which unfortunately have been lacking so far.At this point I doubt Roc nation\coloumbia even want this girl to happen in the US.

This is the problem. She doesn't need a basic grower. She needs an instant smash that's different and screams "RITA" whatever that is at this point because she's all over the place sonically.

I get where you are coming from, but oddly enough I prefer this to her other songs,I like the direction she's going with this.
