It's ABC's highest rated show on Sunday night. It's pretty much safe. Plus it's the number 1 show of the timeslot with young adults across the board. So thankfully the show is actually on quite a solid ground because its fanbase supports it so much.
I don't think this show will be cancelled abruptly--if anything, they'll give it a final season. If a show has made it to season five and still has a massive following on a SUNDAY, it is definitely safe. I really don't want this show to end, but I know that it'll be done really well.

This show will not be cancelled anytime soon, unless the ratings plummet, but I doubt that, plus it gives ABC way too much syndication money to be cancelled at this point.
