If you're using pictures from the album artwork, can you put these in a collapse tag? I want to be surprised. Thanks. I liked your Super Turnt Up one btw.
You just saw them though lol Come on, the album is like three days away!
Arriving after years of label drama and career postmortems, Ciara’s eponymous fifth record is a testament to her resilience. Clocking a brisk 40 minutes over 10 songs, it’s a light, likable effort that achieves its modest goal of never embarrassing itself, but it also represents the singer’s biggest missed opportunity yet. ... Though Ciara is a perfectly competent album, it’s the least interesting one she could have made given the winning hand she was dealt, and as she should know by now, winning hands only come around so often.
With every album, Ciara has gotten closer to becoming her true self. Ultimately strengthening her talents, Ciara's self-titled fifth studio album finds the singer at her best: when she's at her most confident. The album, her strongest and most concise since her debut, sees Ciara flourishing in mostly bass-heavy, slinky soundscapes that fit her vocal range.
It’s good! In fact, it’s great. It might be our favorite Ciara album to date. ... Ciara has as many ferocious pop moments as the underrated Fantasy Ride, but all the fat has been trimmed; it’s lean, sharp and dynamic, and people are probably going to absolutely love it. When Ciara gets super turnt up — as she is on this record — she’s really the best.
Ciara was never up with the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kelis, Aaliyah or Amerie in the Premier League, largely because her writers and producers (Lil John, Jazze Pha et al) lacked that slightly unhinged genius.
With only ten tracks, Ciara runs a bit short — The Evolution and Fantasy Ride both offer a lot more to chew on — but it certainly does feel like her most consistent, cohesive record to date.
Ciara's only shortcoming – here and in general – is the passive personality that's plagued her since 2005 number one Goodies. There's little distinctive about her voice, but perhaps that's her thing. She works best as the blank canvas for the hottest producers a round. They bring the songs, she brings the sauce.
The more I listen to this album, the more I think Got Me Good should be on it. Sorry doesn't fit quite as much, but I'm including it anyway because it's flawless. The whole album is incredible; worst songs are Boy Outta Here and Keep On Lookin' but even they're good.

I could not agree more. I don't see why they had to cut GMG Unfair. The song is so horribly underrated.
Overdose and Super Turnt Up are getting the most praise from critics and fans so they'll probably be dual-released as the next singles. I could see Where You Go or Livin' It Up closing the era since they're both multi-format smashes (though LIU might be a little too pop for urban).
Wait. I just remembered that she's performing with Future on Fallon next week (according to the TV guide). Where You Go could possibly be the next single. It's the perfect crossover record and even has Grammy potential tbh.
Body Party
I'm Out
Where You Go
Overdose
Super Turnt Up
Livin' It Up
Probably one too many singles but I think this would slay.
