I wasnt downplaying the big success of the debut week. It depends how you define it but consistent dark red updates for 24 hours is what I would call free falling, at least in relation to Adele.

Again, I'll give you it decreasing. But the fact it has managed to stay atop the chart with Whitney's funeral and ADELE performance says wonders about her digital power considering the fact it was wrote in 2010.

This is what I am hoping for.

I think it will be very close overall though. Any of the three artists expected to be up top could come out #1 and I don't see any good arguments for why any would have a lock on it. Its funner this way anyways.

But Rihanna's total includes two "featured" credits. Perry was either solo or in the lead on all seven of her hits. More good news for Perry: "The One That Got Away" tops the 2 million mark this week.

SFTTR will go at least 4x Platinum regardless. I wouldn't be too surprised if the label puts out a "real" video at the last minute to push it there quicker, but that's wishful thinking at this point.

On another note, this should be the best top 10 sales week in a while. I don't even think the Christmas season produced high sales like this, or...

Honey, Kelly will probably catch up to Katy in sales before the episode of Glee even airs (Kelly's already at 78% of Katy), and once it does air Kelly will leave her in the dust. Plus, she has a massive airplay lead over Katy. Katy will no longer be in the running until her airplay can catch up and she has additional promo (probably a video).

Ya no. Kelly has a great chance next week. By no mean a lock but for sure will be in the picture with the glee effect. Not saying she will win but you write it off at your own risk. Of course if Adele stays strong with SFTTR sales next week she will crush them both just because of its massive AI..... so you have to really BEAT its sales and I don't think Katy will have enough AI quite yet to maintain #1 after launch week (at least temporarily).

I am personally not going to make any hard predictions till monday so we can see if SFTTR's sales start to slide and how bad Katy's slide is. Then we have to see how big Stronger's bump is.


Not simple at all. Gunna be a fun week.
