Ok I am so annoyed. Camilla ruins the opening and closing of the song. I know she is love or hate, but usually she at least hits her notes and does her thing. In this song, her opening verse is horrible and sounds like she is sick and nasally. And her ending adlibs which the final chorus builds towards are autotuned and do not fit. Add in the fact that the chorus sounds like one girl singing and there being no harmonies throughout the song make this a massive disappointment for me.
It's a bop but it should be much. much better. Does Lauren even get to go to the studio to record? It's so odd.
So just a note about the YT views - the video's current total is 5.6 million. I put down its total yesterday as 2.1 million, but that would mean that it got 2.1M on its first day and 3.5M on its second, which would make no sense, so it's obviously that it spent a lot of today catching up from yesterday's freezes. The good news is that YouTube does post its own view stats, they're just typically delayed by about 2-3 days, meaning that we'll get its accurate first day view count either tomorrow or the day after. In the mean time, as a placeholder, I'm going to estimate that it got 65% of its total views yesterday and 35% today, which is how I came up with the numbers you'll see below. They'll be fixed as soon as I see definite numbers from YouTube, which will hopefully be tomorrow.
